Exercise and be fit with a classic Asics Onitsuka Tiger shoes
Some shoes prove to be great hits and fizzle out in a short span of time while others remain popular for decades. Numerous Asics Onitsuka Tiger shoes fall in the latter category. The word Asics stands for “anima sana in corpore sano” . This means “a healthy soul in a healthy body”. Thus Asics Tiger is a company that believes that to be healthy and happy, one needs to be fit. It produces superior athletic shoes that are comfortable yet stylish.
Each Asics shoes is usually available in a wide range of colors and color combination. These athletic shoes are designed for running, track & field, cross-training, tennis, football, martial arts, cricket, golf, wrestling, volleyball and cheer leading amongst others.
The most popular of the Asics Onitsuka Tigers shoes is the Asics Tiger Mexico 66 shoes. This shoe was launched during the Mexico Games in 1968 and they have been popular ever since. It was with this shoe that the trademark tiger stripes were first introduced. This shoe is available for both men and women.
Another shoe with a similar name but a completely different style is the feminine Asics Mexico Tigress Women’s Shoes. This casual mary-jane style shoe has soft leather upper, two dainty buckle closures, a printed textile lining and a leather footbed.
The Asics Onitsuka Tigers Ultimate 81 is a technical Running Shoes that has considerable popularity. As its name suggests it was launched in 1981. It is tough, lightweight with an emphasis on stability of the heel and overall comfort while running. Its upper is made from a combination of leather, mesh, suede, or tweed.
However Asics Tiger does not produce only sports shoes. It has introduced the cute Onitsuka Tiger by Asics Snowtopia Women’s Boots that makes the ladies look forward to the advent of winter! These pretty boots have a synthetic upper with leather overlays, an EVA midsole and a rubber outsole that provides a better grip on snow. It also has two straps with fuzz balls that encircle the shaft.
So the next time you feel lazy about exercising, just take your Asics Tiger shoes out, remember what its acronym stands for and get exercising!
