What do you think of my poem?
“Athens”
Colors glide against the green landscape
disturbing the sanctity of my view.
Whites, yellows, reds, greens, blues, blacks.
The sun stains the pantheon golden;
as the Greeks check the dimension of their view.
When asked what they are doing they might say
off to learn a language,
complete an algorithm,
or have a chance at seeing pink.
Its a double meaning Athens, GA and greek as in sorority and fraternity, and pink is vagina.
This is a good poem. You seem to have an individual writing style. I giggled at the pink part…vagina…wow. You made it work. It gave a playfulness to an otherwise serious poem. You are good my friend. (:
