what do i do about this?
Well, My 13 year old son Ricky has a pair of trainers (lacoste swerve) and they are very very VERY mucky and smelly, he says im not washing them and when i touch them he takes a flakey but now he has them up in his room and he takes them to school with him too. Also my 12 year old son Declan’s trainers are quite a bit mucky too but he isnt carrying what happens. So what should i do about this problem with ricky?

So, your son is forbidding you from washing his shoes? If they’re disgusting and smelly, you’re going to have to do something about it. He can’t just spread mud and smells everywhere he goes. As ludicrous as this is, you’re basically going to have to threaten punishment. Take away his video games, or something- you can’t allow him to get whatever he wants just because he’ll have a temper tantrum.
