Several Tips to Clean White Leather Lounge

Having white leather lounge can be a great way for adding class and sophistications to your room. Although leather is known as a durable material, it still requires special care in order to maintain its clean appearance. Actually, different type of leather will also require different type of cleaning. It is known that most of leather furniture comes with a finished surface. It means that it will be safe for cleaning it using mild soap. In order to restore the rich texture and appearance of your white leather lounge, you should clean and condition it on regular basis. Just read on the following tips to know how to do it.

The first method is using dry cleaning. The process can be started by vacuuming your leather lounge thoroughly using vacuum brush attachment. After that, you need to remove the cushions and then vacuum underneath them, where the crumbs can accumulate. In order to prevent scratching, you need to use gentle pressure on it. Then, you need to wipe your leather lounge with soft cloth in small, circular motions for removing dust and also light buildup. This cleaning method can work for weekly cleaning and freshening of your leather lounge.

The second method is to mix a tablespoon of the mild liquid soap with a quart of the distilled water in a bucket. Then, you can use your hand or spoon for mixing it in a way to form foamy soap bubbles. After that, you should dip the cloth into the bucket and then wring it out. Just wipe the white leather lounge in the small sections at a time. Next, you need to rinse the cloth with the distilled water and wring it out. The leather should be wiped in small, circular motions for removing the soap residue. If necessary, you can rinse the cloth as well. Moreover, you need to use dry cloth to stain the leather and to remove the excess water. Finally, you can allow your leather lounge to dry thoroughly.
