We have now entered a new year, which means a new year full of fresh fashions, styles and colours. Trying to staying ahead of trends and styles always helps when designing jewellery pieces. Knowing what colours will be fashionable, and what styles will be popular, means your jewellery items are more likely to match with the clothes and accessories that shops will be selling.
So what does 2011 bring? So far it seems that pastels will be in for the spring of 2011. Think light blues, pinks and yellows. Mixing these colours with other neutral and earthen colours can create some beautiful designs. Incorporating these lovely pastel colours in your designs will help your jewellery pieces mix and match with the up and coming fashions.
Another popular style being mentioned for 2011 is the metallic silvers and golds. These bold colours work great alongside the jet blacks and bright silver spacers. Adding in some frosted foil blues and purples will create a fabulous statement jewellery piece. These designs are perfect to jazz up an outfit for a night out on the town.
