can i get leather soles on chuck taylor’s? how can i make the rubber sole slippery for dancing?
I am trying to find a good dancing shoe, but want to add a little style, so that is why i went with the Chuck Taylors.They are also nice and light. I need a shoe for the studio, and the stage for gliding and moonwalking, and spinning… I didn’t know if it was possible to change the rubber sole to a leather on the chucks; if not, how do i make the rubber sole slippery so i can dance properly? thank you
I use chucks for shuffling, which requires that the sole be slippery (look up Melbourne shuffle on YouTube to see what it is). I put duct tape on the sole from toe to heel. Just 2 or 3 layers covering the whole sole. You can trim it so it isn’t seen off to the sides. It works like a charm and when it starts to wear down, you just put more on. (:
