The choice of shoes depends on many things. Firstly, if it is a formal occasion, you obviously have to choose from numerous formal styles, depending upon the kind of dress you will be carrying. Although there is no end to the continuously changing fashion and trends, there are some types of shoes that are always in style. Ankle Straps: This footwear can look very elegant and very chic at the same time. These shoes have a strap or a ribbon that can be tied around the ankle. They are easy to find without heels too, but ankle strap with high heels are killer combos.
Ballet flats: ballet flats or ballerina shoes look cute and are more comfortable than heels too. However, those who are not used to them can find them a bit irritating.
Mules: These shoes are easy to slip in and comfortable to walk with. They are closed from the front so that your feet will not get dirty or dusty. They come in leather, suede and many other materials.
Mary Jane: These shoes can be flat or high heeled. Typically, the flat ones were considered as school girl shoes while high heels give them a very elegant look, which is perfect for work and corporate events.
Pumps: The ever so popular pumps are the ones that never go out of style. The height of this shoe’s heel might vary from very short to very high (up to 6 inches). Peep toes are also a variation of this style.
Loafers: For the ladies with a hectic lifestyle, loafers are the best thing that can keep your feet relaxed while there is so much going on in the head. Besides, loafers are extremely casual and decent for all ages.
Platform shoes: If you want to look taller without having to walk on your tip toes, platform shoes are the best options. They have got a high sole along with a high heel. This gives a rather leveled platform for you feet. But they are still not something that can be worn casually.
Wedges: These are what you get when you lower the front part of block or platform shoes. The sole makes a kind of wedged block beneath the heels. They look pretty and girly, thus best for beach wear.
